Linux is not the other in this graph. In the comparison of all OS usage, steam reports that 1.91% of users are running a Linux distro. So Linux does beat vista and 7.

this chart in the screenshot is actually the windows version usage statistics. so this is actually probably saying more people are using xp/vista than 32-bit windows 7. the combined windows/mac/linux stats do show linux having a higher share than mac or windows 7/8 though. the graph you've included does not seem to include windows 11 nor does it include any systems not using directx 10/11/12. it also says nothing about linux.
The info wasn't presented amazingly clearly, or alternatively I'm not amazingly bright. Probably both
