I never really used "that site", so could you explain what this jobs post would entail?
Sure. The idea is that every month, there's a dedicated post pinned to the top for people in the Eugene area to post job listings, help wanteds, news about job fairs, etc. Basically, it's a way to help people who are looking for work find a job.
Full disclosure: I'm a mod over there. In fact, I'm the mod who created the monthly jobs post.
But I care more about Eugene (the city) than Reddit. And I think Reddit is basically committing slow suicide. I don't want to lose the community resources we built up on that platform, and the monthly jobs post was one of them.
