The massive PR and diplomatic failure of the UK (and to a greater extent Biden's US government) is that China of all countries is being seen as the sensible nation as it calls for an end to the violence and oppression. China!

Lol, the new season of Vigil (British military copaganda) is exactly about this (except it's a fantasy middle eastern county to not step on anyone's toes instead of Israel).
