17kb image still too big for community icon? (lemm.ee)

Im trying to upload an image for a community icon, i kept shrinking an image and now its 17kb and still not working, what could I be doing wrong it's a jpeg, it keeps saying Uploaded image is too large

But I've done this before with no problem... TIA

Edit: I've tried from my pc and my phone browser, both say img too big.

SOLVED: lemm.ee has blocked image uploads :(

It's been disabled for now because of CSAM spam.

If the community is on another server, I recommend using an alt from yet another server, making the alt a mod and then add it that way? It worked for me.

Pretty sure your instance blocked uploads awhile ago.

Have you tried clearing your cache?
You could also try converting it into a ico image and see if that works.

I seem to recall that this was the error message you get when image uploading is disabled
