I'm quite happy about this.

Same. I hope the place I go for my economy sized horchata finds an equally large paper cup for it.

why stop at cup and just go bucket, chicken or popcorn.

Personally I like the reusable dishwashable microwavable recyclable black plastic boxes with the clear lids. And the deli containers: three sizes, one lid size fits all. I've been using some of the same ones for 3 years. When they finally fall apart they go in the recycling bin. They also take much better care of your food in the first place!

They make clear Styrofoam containers now?

Always has been. "Styrofoam" is actually polystyrene (#6, PS plastic) in foam form. It's also turned into solid objects and is transparent. Typical examples include plastic utensils, CD case covers, and some food containers. If it's transparent, flimsy, and cracks really easily, it's probably polystyrene.
