I think all of the frontrunners at the back were fighting each other rather than those Infront for a while

It seems the hard tires are starting to work a little

Why are the lights on the grid out?

Overshot in turn 12, ground the side of his car before ending in the back techpro of the runout.

I think the five seconds is a fair penalty in general. It's just that Max' performance is so abnormally dominant that for him it doesn't matter.

Edit: and in lap 14 it seems like it would have been less of a penalty to let Leclerc regain position since if they pit now, he could end up 4th.

Max with massive graining

Come on Max!!!!!!!! That was dirty as fuck :/

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm wrong. Not sure what was Osama bin Russel doing

Honestly looked like a racing incident. It was a very risky but valid move, but Russell couldn't have seen him.

I do wonder how that broken frontwing will work out now.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

I feel like he went on the outside like crazy. Like he opened the door wide open just to shut it in his face. I think he got more damage than Max anyways, so I would say no penalty for this one.

Charles fighting back!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

No DRS for Charles

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Wouldn't Verstappen get a significant higher amount of tyre wear with only half a front wing? I hope he wins so he can add to the record, but it seems rather unlikely.

IIRC that front wing endplate is mainly to manage outwash? So as long as the wing holds together without that plate, it should be fine

SC. Good for cars in old tires

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Perez needs to start applying more pressure on Leclerc now. Force him to make mistakes so he ruins his tyres. If anything they need to start acting like a team since they'll probably need to do it more next year.
