Honestly, I hope it thrives after the blackout. I plan on staying for a while. Reddit just rubbed me the wrong way with all their profit chasing.
Anyway, Rice? Great with some curry.
I sort of feel like we're missing the hot takes so... I really don't ahve an issue with chasing Castagne.
He seems solid, the Belgians still play him and literally no one has come out of the Leicester defence with looking good so I'm prepared to say it might not be his fault.
Remember Ramsdale was relegated twice.
I trust in eduteta tbh, they've learned it; plus our last belgian went well and Stuivenberg has coached Castagne also
Airpod albert also coached a certain belgian midfielder we eventually had to loan out though...
also that's after we signed him, not before lol; Airpods had Castagne at Genk
pretty sure albert had him somehwere in belgium?
Not at least looking at wikipedia, Sambi came here straight from Anderlecht
Fair enough, I withdraw my baseless accusations against APA
Clearly Kompany as a City legend told us to sign him to sabotage our title run /j Sambi's gonna be pretty decent and I'll be surprised if he doesn't become a significant part of the Belgian national team eventually, just not yet
He needs a step up season for that and so far he hasnt. Maybe a loan to Burnley
Wow we are actually bigger than the soccer/football sub in lemmy. We are indeed gargantuan
We are probably the most engaged Reddit fanbase. Other subs have more users but I think we generally tend to have more activity than other subs, so it wouldn't be surprising if we were kicking ass here too
I'm at the point with transfers that if Edu and Arteta want a player, then that is good enough for me. They have picked out enough talent and made some great signings that I'm happy to just let them do their thing without getting stressed about who/when we should buy.
And anyone who does sign for us, I will cheer and back them 100%.
We've consistently had more hits than misses at this point. Even the misses we might be able to offload and break even. The better the team does, the more it affords us to have a few duds here and there.
Howdy fellow ex-redditors. Wondering how many of you I recognise from the sub...
I was on Reddit with the same handle but I wasn’t active enough for anyone to recognise :P
Good luck remembering to do this daily until we get bots
I have a secret weapon.
If I forget I'll just blame the mods for not automating it...
Also it should probably be at a better time than just 'I'm awake and we don't have one yet
look, c/football's transfer news is coming from "I'm awake and this is not up yet" so
True although I doubt much is being broken at half past two on a monday morning in the UK.
Unless we're getting our links to random brazillians agan
I'm back in Hong Kong for the summer hols but that means UK afternoons aren't gonna be posted on time haha; hoping other people help out.
Jealous, enjoy all the dim sum.
Always a weird one as to when the DD thread should be posted, I know spurs do theirs at midnight
Personally I like the way r/soccer did it which is having it move an hour every day so it starts at a different time each day with threads lasting for 23 hours.
also yes the dim sum :D its good to be home again, though the heat........
undefined> though the heat…
It's pushing 30 degrees in london and we don't do air conditioning...
I mean the aircon is nice as fuck but you can't get any outdoors, the heat index thing cuz of the humidity and stuff is making it feel like 38 degrees according to the weather channel rn lol
Doont miss the humidity but at least you can escape it inside, london heat follows you...
Fair enough
光復香港
My chinese is basically nonexistent as I haven't lived in HK for over 30 years and even then it was basically dim sum based but I'm pretty certain I recognise that one and I fully agree.
Is there a r/sino on here yet....
I made a c/HongKong, havent seen a sino lol
If this gets popular, I'm betting it will change!
