I didn't check in last night due to some a evening mess that needed cleaning.

What progress did you make yesterday?

Not a lot of progress yesterday. Did some reading of Architecture of a Database System. There's a lot more going on under the hood of a DBMS than I realized.

You mentioning that so often makes me want to take a look... if/when I get some free time to do so.

If you do, I'll have a copy that includes bookmarks to each section when I'm finished reading it because I'm bookmarking them as I go.

I'll take it if you're offering; what about your bookmarks, though? Won't you miss them?

It's a pdf. I'll send you a copy soon.

2 days in a row with very little progress. (Tuesday and Wednesday)

More productive on Thursday.

Completed 3 of 6 Grouping and Sorting exercises in the Pandas course.

Read more of Architecture of a Database System, but I didn't comprehend it all (not sure if the authors are assuming some prior knowledge or their promised further explanation about the details of Disk I/0 buffers [Database I/O, Log I/O Requests] in later chapters will clear things up.

What is everyone holding themselves accountable for?

Whatever you want!

What do you value?
What's important to you?
Tomorrow, what will you regret not doing today?
Tomorrow, what will you be proud of doing today?

I'm working towards a Masters Degree program, so I'd like to make some progress on it most days. But it's a long term goal that is easy to push aside for other things on any given day.

Ahan, that's good.

I have a couple of things that have been on pause and I have been meaning to get back to them. Maybe this can be one way to make myself accountable.

I have a woodworking project that's been "in progress" for a long time. It's small but I experienced a setback early on which killed all motivation. But I went back to it yesterday and moved it forward a bit more!
