Not a lot of progress yesterday. Did some reading of Architecture of a Database System. There's a lot more going on under the hood of a DBMS than I realized.

Completed 3 of 6 Grouping and Sorting exercises in the Pandas course.
Read more of Architecture of a Database System, but I didn't comprehend it all (not sure if the authors are assuming some prior knowledge or their promised further explanation about the details of Disk I/0 buffers [Database I/O, Log I/O Requests] in later chapters will clear things up.

I'm working towards a Masters Degree program, so I'd like to make some progress on it most days. But it's a long term goal that is easy to push aside for other things on any given day.

I have a couple of things that have been on pause and I have been meaning to get back to them. Maybe this can be one way to make myself accountable.
I have a woodworking project that's been "in progress" for a long time. It's small but I experienced a setback early on which killed all motivation. But I went back to it yesterday and moved it forward a bit more!
