By the way, I can very much recommend a free app, called merlin bird ID. It’s shazam for birdsong and works remarkably well. This is not an ad, I just really like it.

Additionally, it would be appreciated if the location of the sighting and a date were given when a photo or question is posted. You do not have to give the precise location, something like "Northern Idaho, June 2023" or even "North-Western US, June 2023" suffices.

I second this app. Use it all the time for birds I don't recognize
there's also birdnet. What I also like about merlin is that you can browse birds offline.
Apparently I speak fluent birb. The long-tailed manakins cracked me up, though.
