p.s. my favorite bug I ever had was when he implemented vampires trying to pin blame on other fort residents when their victims were discovered. Because wagons move around the game considered them as creatures, I think they accidentally had the intelligent (or maybe canlearn) tag, so I had a vampire try to pin its crime on a maple wood wagon.
Needless to say he didn't get away with it.
Iโve heard so many good things about this game. Time for me to give it a try.
Go through the wiki and learn how to set up farming and brewing.
Then you'll know enough to make a nice little fortress.
When you get destroyed by invaders, go back to the wiki and learn about creating a military.
Have FUN!
DF is one of those games I'll invest hours into for about a month every year. There's so many ways to play it, and enjoy the insanity of procedural generation.
