An invitation... to read about the economics, the Austrian one. The based one. You have so far heard about the merits of hard money, sound money, gold money... You've heard your favorite soycial media influencer's "hottakes" on it, you've read tweets about it, blog posts about it, yewtube videos about it.
But enough with the secondary sources. Cut the bullshit, cut the middleman.
Now it's time to read the primary sources. And see for ourselves, whether the ideas they have actually hold water. Whether they offer actionable advice, and predictive insight.
Join us. Each week, we discuss certain portions of the book at hand. The discussions can take place both in English and Turkish language, and I encourage you to set the language of your post in lemmy's UI; however, the books themselves will be strictly in English.
We start with Economics For Real People, by Gene Callahan. You can simply find the pdf file for the book on Anna's Archive.
