Why are petrol attendants back? (monyet.cc)

When I was a teenager I believe the government made efforts to reduce or totally abolish petrol attendants. But recently I see a lot of them standing around again. One petrol station I went to had about 5 attendants (normally foreigners) working. What changed?

Maybe to prevent dem singapore car pumping ron95. I've seen it basically every station in melaka tho, and it also help speed up the pumping process since the attendance can also help you pay at the pump.

Maybe sales going up, need more staffs for that.
