New DLC dropped for an old game?
Aoe2 since the release of definitive edition in 2019 has consistently been releasing new expansions. Because it has dedicated and fairly sizable fan base.
It also got its xbox console release earlier this year.
Wild to me. Like seeing Wing Commander or Commander Keen again.
It was a pretty big remaster of the game, makes sense that it has some staying power
Like they said the DE version is alive and well!
Then ten years ago we had HD edition.
We even have a pretty good competitive scene with full time pros and tournaments.
A lot of folks still play this avidly.
OMG, I haven't played this game regularly since highschool-ish. I tried to play online 15 years later with folks that had never quit and just got my ass handed to me.
People are even more cracked now thanks to youtube
