My Trek 7300 roadbike has a pretty basic seatpost stem shock and I feel like it does a pretty good job of soaking up the worst of the bumps. It's for sure the best bang for your buck before going with something more expensive.
Bike Commuting
A place on the fediverse to share and discuss about commuting by bicycle
Hi there. I have been using BBB Cycling ComfortPost Suspension BSP-41 for more than a year on my commuter gravel bike. It's a seatpost suspension, controlled by two springs that can be adjusted (stiffness). I wanted to buy full rear suspension frame but opted just to buy seatpost and have no regrets.
For me it has really made the difference. My commute is 12km one way and half of that is gravel with potholes and bumps and after a ride I would feel back pain a lot. Now I have no more pain and the ride is so smooth ๐
It's not cheap but in the long run it's worth it. If you drive a lot it will save your back.
Thanks this is the exact kind of experience I was looking for.
