It was similar for me! I was bored and put an UwU down on the canvas at the beginning of the event and it survived almost until the end! People kept repairing it too and put the rainbow road below without destroying it. In the end the space got repurposed for a cute pony which is for the best x3
I'm very surprised how long it lasted though! This community is so nice!
thought I'd share my version too which is more of a pixel by pixel version of the 1000x500 pixel canvas ^^

oh hey, I was there too! Worked at the save3rdpartyapps logo, was really nice seeing everyone collaborate but it got really stressful at points. People were greedy for canvas space. Was a bit disappointing that we could only do so much, the banner was really small after all. But at least the protest didn't go unnoticed with the giant "FUCK SPEZ" across the whole canvas.
There is no division between who you pretend to be and who you are.
This is quite the nice message in view of imposter syndrome too. If you're being a kind person online then you are simply a kind person.
But what if I want a union struct to quickly interpret floats as ints and vice versa! I need my C hacks!
the hecking pepper brush from GIMP at the end got me laughing!
you might be overthinking a bit. I don't think there is anything wrong with having gnomes whos culture is based on some autistic traits. Like maybe it's common for them to just leave mid-conversation or they see it as an insult if you make eye contact. That sounds like a fun idea.
Just don't make autism their only trait or be afraid of not including an idea because it doesn't fit the autism stick.
As others here have said it might be more about how you do it, not if it's gnomes or any other species. The only thing I really associate with gnomes would be a low body height.
According to wiktionary infant comes from the Latin word infans, meaning "unable to speak". The term fans means "to speak".
Not sure if your Fanta can speak though :P
could've expanded GNU some more! :P
Different apps being able to communicate sounds similar to the fediverse! Would be nice if there was a common protocol/library every messenger would use and clients would only need to implement it.
I feel like javascript would actually do this :P
D'aww, that is so cute! I love the art style! :3
