I would really like an open-source alternative to Facebook. The connection idea with friends via a social network platform I like, the bots and ads and force fed (propaganda) news I really don't like.

Plus, an open source Facebook would really hurt Zuck and that's also a win.

Thank you for trying to get ahead of the spam influx. Trying to beat the spambots is a thankless task, but thank you anyhouw.

There's a lot of concern right now about the future of Earth based astronomy with the prospect of thousands more satellites getting in the way of ground based telescopes. What's the balance between science & culture vs worldwide network accessablility?

2 minute video.

The interaction of electrical fields and liquids can lead to phenomena that defies intuition. A famous example is the Floating Water Bridge: a slender thread of water held between two glass beakers in which a high voltage difference is applied. Surprisingly, the water bridge defies gravity even when the beakers are separated at distances up to 2 cm.

Thank you for the article OP.

While this doesn't surprise me, I can't help but wonder how many other parallel situations there are where an industry of many separate entities distort, hide and otherwise lie to the public to maintain the publicly harmful gravy train.
