yes, I've banned it and removed all it's content.
thanks, community has been removed and user has been banned.
I'd prefer it if you don't renew until we figure something else out. I know they had plans to start a non profit but not sure where that's at. Sorry for the inconvenience.
it sounds to me according to https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/XWiimote that you might just need to run modprobe hid-wiimote
and it just might work?
The second sentence says:
This driver is part of upstream Linux since version 3.1.
The bot has been unbanned.
For some context as to why, there was something that was reported as spam (can't remember the exact thing off the top of my head), and it looked like the community was unmoderated, with only the bot contributing, so it was banned.
With the addition of the extra mods, etc, the bot should be fine! Sorry about that!
wow there's consequences for your actions. who knew?
and mom & dad's money wasn't able to let them off the hook. the system works! at least in this case.
no, it works fine on my non-rooted phone.
I've decided to stick around for now to help out with Admin/server stuff, but everything has been fully transitioned over to them now.
i don't think there's a universal way to do this currently.
i would say probably the best thing to do would be to create a pinned post saying the community is closing or whatever, with a link to the new one, and also maybe something in the community sidebar as well.
you could also set the community to only allow posts from moderators.
that community you linked to should be working now. for some reason it appeared to be pointing to a kbin-style community, so I don't know if that instance started out with kbin, then switched over to lemmy at some point? and that community was still pointing to the wrong one?
if there's any others you're aware of, let me know, and I'll look into it!
very nice! i've been using the fork for a while now, and it's been rock solid. glad to see it will be available on fdroid soon.
