My orange clivia's are blooming for the first time this year. I grew them from seeds I collected.

Can't say the name but I can give you a cutting in Springvale. The pale leaves and pink fringe is a slight stress response, probably that ground looks dry. Mine in the ground is all green, in pots I get that nice stress contrast.

EDIT: the two image replies are the same plant.

I find carbs to be a better antidepressant than SSRIs et al, especially with the cold weather. If you've Irish DNA you can call it medicinal.

They could also be intoxicated, unwell, or have someone close in their life called Dani... for some other options.

Just found three $50s on the dog walk.

e: Rang the bell of the house it was in front of but no one answered. I reckon someone dropped it in the dark and didn't see.

Dam, the new cafe has shitty snack packs. e: They're simple things to make well enough. Yet most places near me stuff them up in one way or another.

So mum drives a 2003 Nissan pulsar, n14 I think.

The new mechanic round the corner wants $250 for spark plug change and $400 for front brakes, which I hope is pads and rotors for that price.

I've only worked on old hiaces, spark plugs were $6ea, front pads were about $40 and rotors were $60ish. That totals about $125, double it for modern price gouging to $250, that leaves $400 for labor, which seems high to me.

Whaddya reckon?
