The usual assortment of anime, Agatha All Along, and a moving trans/crossdressing documentary Casa Susanna from 2023

I feel like what changed wasn't even due to any characters' agency.

The building blocks to a more peaceful future were already there when he sent his mind back to the past, as evidenced by the change to Isobeyan -> Zundacchi and Kadode's eyeglass color changing from red to green.

So it was like he sent his consciousness to yet another alternative reality instead of actually fixing anything.

Farrell's response regarding this incident doesn't make sense.

If he was purely interested in how long the issuance of the permits would take, why not call the DBI directly instead of Mayor Breed's office?

That was an easy mistake to make.

It's well past time to militarily overthrow the evil repressive religious zealot regime in Alaska.

Or maybe the price of homes in those mountain areas should come down to reflect the high risk of fire, and inability to insure homes in those areas.

Insurance is a scam that leads to a disconnect between the value of things and what people can afford to pay for them, such as health care, which leads to an artificial reduction in financial risk, which leads to reckless spending by the insurance industry, which leads to artificially high prices, which only leads to more people to need insurance, because they increasingly can't afford to pay for housing and healthcare on their own income.

When insurance pool/scam collapses, it's just the government, i.e. taxpayers, i.e. you and me, left holding the bag anyway.

The police drama thing was a bore and went on too long.

It was much better when the actual plot got going.

A pretty good episode. Building the horror suspense with the Salem Seven was good.

The unnamed Teen is creepy and weird in his own right.

High quality oriental sword that took over 2 years to transport across the Silk Road.

Kept in my cellar in ideal storage conditions.

Don't try to lowball me, I know what I got.

The movie just recently became available for streaming, so I got a chance to watch it.

Mostly a recap of the first 2 seasons, but from Nagi and Reo's point-of-view.

I felt disappointed by this:

Nagi isn't the most captivating or motivated character. He has a one-dimensional personality and this movie does nothing to change that.

He spends most of the movie moaning about what a hassle it is to do just about anything: Playing soccer, brushing his teeth, even eating.

Incredible football super powers aside, he just isn't interesting enough to be the subject of a 90 minute movie.

It was nice to watch the group elimination stage from Team V's point of view, but it's presented almost as quick highlights, with maybe the best part being against Nico's Team Y, although more screen time is given to their fateful match against Isagi's Team Z.

And that's a problem, because we already saw what happened in V vs Z in excruciating detail in the TV episodes.

Assuming anyone who is investing time and money to watch this has already watched the show already knows exactly what happens, so what was the value add here?

Although the production did animate just about everything from scratch for the movie, there was disappointingly little actual new story.

And the movie production quality was also not that great.

The TV show is famous for its Powerpoint-style graphics, and the movie was only slightly above that.

It felt like a missed opportunity to "fill in the gaps" of the action that's happening between the Powerpoint slides.

To sum up, it feels like a lot of poor production and concept decisions.

George R R Martin confirms he hasn't written anything for the 2 remaining A Song Of Ice And Fire books since 2022.

He wishes that they were finished.

The last published book in the series, A Dance With Dragons, was published in July 2011, now 13 years ago.

Apparently unrelated to the massive Netflix anime leak, the Re:Zero movie length premiere has also leaked.

This one appears to be related to a canceled showing at Japan Expo in Paris, similar to the massive CR premiere leak from a convention in Washington couple of seasons ago.
