Not having any material science knowledge I'm going to temper my excitement by how quickly this story spreads, and what my science news outlets say about it. That this came without any preceding hype leads me to believe there something very prohibitive about the method.

After the last incident with a pre-print claiming rt superconductivity I'd be wary too, but reading through the supplementary info the method seems like plenty of labs could quickly shit-test the data.

The team in question seems to have already published a write-up of their work with this material
