I have a really bad habit held over from The Place that Must Not be Named of subscribing to everything that looks interesting. If it isn't actually active or interesting, it gets unsubscribed. Is there a way to sort my list here to see which communities are active?

On your front-page in the drop down there is a sorting option titled "Active" does this not do what you want?

That sorts the feed. Iโ€™m trying to sort the list of community subscriptions.

Do you not have the Subscribed/Local/All selections next to the sort order?

Yes, but Iโ€™m trying to sort the communities in my subscription list, not the posts available when I log in.

When you select Subscribed it is your subscription list...

Ah, so ONLY the communities themselves... got ya, not currently possible. A few third party apps make it easier to see the users online and amount of posts at a glance. Seems like hitting subscribed in your community list and scrolling to the bottom would give you a pretty good idea though.

This may be the best possible measure right now. Iโ€™m just trying not to have 400 subs, 3/4 of which are silent and dead, like That Other Place.

Thanks for your help figuring it out.

I think they want that for the communities tab. In other words, not to see posts sorted by active, but communities sorted by average monthly users or something. Not sure how to do it though.

For my instance I can tap "Subscribed" and whatever the sort order is applies to my subscribed communities.
