Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

At the age of 25 you haven't fucked up. You still have plenty of opportunity to change your destiny and surround yourself with wiser people.
Once you get a few years older it becomes more reasonable to start asking more of your social circle, but if they're too incurious they wont be responsive to that. If you're on this site you're familiar with the concept of 5-year planning, it's totally doable socially too.
I think a lot of managing through the shift from teenager to young adult to 30+ yr old guy is all about that filtering of relationships. When you're younger in high school you meet lots of guys and over the years learn some you were close with suck and those you didn't know so well are pretty great. Then college happens and that friend group scatters while you make new college or work friends and the whole thing repeats. Adulthood is really about those existing relationship networks and maybe a select few folks you meet through hobbies as a fully developed person. At the end of this you have lots of old relationships and acquaintances, but are only left with a few dear friends.
