6 million is the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust, maybe let's not forget (again and again) about the Roma people, the homosexuals, the communists, the soviets POW as well as civilians and the disabled people (and probably other groups I forgot) who got killed as well
And half of these 6 million Jews were Soviet citizens.
To add a couple of related facts: German POWs captured by the Soviets had a death rate of 14%, Soviet POWs of the Germans had a death rate of 54% - and Soviet POWs were the first people killed in the gas chambers of Auschwitz.
Jewish deaths in the Holocaust cannot be disentangled from Germany's colonial extermination campaign against the peoples of the Soviet Union.

IIRC it's ~12 million captive civilians and ~17 million captives including both civilians and POWs. Counting non-captives killed by the Nazis sends the number up over 30 million AFAIK.
Literally every single european theatre casuality in WWII is on the nazis.
