The Clymer types are the worst.

People who interpret things that are obvious on their face and then pretend it's 4D chess while saying things like "ah yes, brilliant maneuver"

Just the lib version of Scott Adams

Things said to Joe Biden after he forgot what state he was in for the third time that day

Scott Adams

My favorite example of how he's like somebody's batshit crazy right-wing Facebook uncle is after Trump said you could inject bleach to cure covid. Adams tied himself in knots tweeting explanations to the clueless masses about what Trump "actually meant".

God damn. I went back and took a look after I saw your comment and the name hit me like a truck lol. I can’t recall my exact experiences but I’m positive I know the same from the Trump era

I know using pop culture to describe politics would be considered very... liberal by you guys but I feel like this is how I'm processing it; it feels like blue apologists engage with politics the same way a ttrpg player engages with a Blades in the Dark campaign. If something undesirable happens just do a Flashback to rewrite reality in your head.

those who understand strategy stand in awe of Biden the master right now

It's Merrick Garland all over again

Which time?

The one where we'd get a conservative supreme court judge or a seemingly incompetent AG?

They think they’re the smartest people in the room for recognizing an obvious political stunt when they’re actually dumb as fuck for thinking it’ll work.

If they can see it, everyone else can too, including the undecided conservatives they’re trying to persuade. The people who vote for presidential candidates based solely on how racist they are to migrants are still going to vote trump and they’ll love however trump chooses to respond. Biden is just throwing away immigrant votes and setting himself up to be dunked on because he’s a white reactionary who wants other white reactionaries to love him.

Not to mention how obviously inhumane it is. It’s not that leftists are too stupid to understand what biden is trying to do, they just oppose it because they have principles and a basic understanding of reality.
