Hello! Thank you for letting me join Moneo.Town! I am a amateur blacksmith and silversmith with a profile on Moneromarket, and i am writing this post in order to get help with starting a blacksmithing and silversmithing business. The biggest hurdle for me at the moment is fuel costs (charcoal), the fact that i'm using a make-shift anvil out of a railroad tie-plate and potential shipping costs. Materials may become costly, but that's unknown at this time. With each product I make, i will try to make an associated video along with it; in order to both show the process of its creation, and to ensure to the customer/s that my products are hand-forged by me. You should post some samples of your work and pics of your workshop/tools set.
Maybe craft a Monero logo and auction it off to raise funds.
I dont have many samples to take pictures of, since im just starting, but here's my makeshift anvil, 2 pairs of tongs, a hole-punch, a chisel and a makeshift rounding-anvil in the stump. I didn't think abouy making a Monero symbol, that's a good idea! I'll see what i need to do to make it. Not sure if the photos attached to this or not, can't see them on the preview. I will post them on my twitter too
