Your question isn’t relevant. As such I’m ignoring it to keep you focused.
What in the letter to the fbi do you find incorrect? Do you think it’s appropriate for the fbi to interfere in an election with lies?
The reason you won’t answer my question isn’t that it’s irrelevant, it’s because you are unable to admit when you’re wrong and are doubling down with your agenda.
I have no issue admitting when I’m wrong. It was a typo and irrelevant. It’s an official government record.
Since you can’t dispute the facts that the fbi knowingly interfered in election, you focus on something irrelevant to draw attention away from the truth. They fbi has interfered with two elections now. That doesn’t bother you ?
James Comey expressed remorse for his handling of the investigation into Clinton’s emails.
I guess they learned from that and didn’t publicize their investigation into the laptop which five years later hasn’t resulted in any charges or convictions.
What do you think the FBI should have done differently?
Not called it Russian misinformation.
What should they have done?
Not called it Russian misinformation
Would you have been okay if they had said that it contains misinformation and left the Russian part out of it?
It didn’t though. That’s not their job. The government is supposed to be apolitical.
It is concerning you think tampering with elections is OK. It isn’t. The new media should have reported based on their own research as we’ve done with hundreds of years. The fbi is not a “fact” checker. They are law enforcement.
I haven’t said this so I don’t know why you’re trying to put those words in my mouth.
It’s very dishonest.
Do you know a mod I can speak to about this?
I am not putting words in your mouth. You are defending the FBI for tampering with two elections and don't seem to grasp how concerning that is.
We have several accounts of where the government is violating the 1st amendment with the press. Yet that doesn't seem to concern you either.
So if find it concerning, say so instead of defending the actions that enable it.
Now you’re accusing me of defending the FBI?
I don’t think we’re having the same conversation.
Just to double check do you mean the FBI or the DOJ?
FBI is part of the DOJ.
Yes, or are you just trolling? Otherwise, what is the point of your statements?
I’m having a conversation with you even though you are being dishonest and trying to put words in my mouth that I am not saying.
If you feel that I am trolling you (which I’m not) then use your powers as a mod to ban and censor me.
If you want to continue to have this conversation then I’d appreciate you not putting words in my mouth or accuse me of trolling you.
I am simply disagreeing with what you say and providing evidence while I do so.
We are a light touch around here.
This is where your argument is circular. Maybe you do not realize it but let's talk it through.
My statement is that it is wrong for the FBI or any government agency to interfere with an election.
You are saying you disagree with me.
I then say I find it concerning you would support the FBI interfering with an election.
You then say I am putting words in your mouth.
It is either you find it concerning or you don't. Otherwise, you would agree with me that it's concerning the FBI keeps interfering with elections which is a danger to the Republic.
Yet in your own words no, you haven't provided evidence. The evidence is clear the FBI interfered with the election. I only know one poll that shows how it would have impacted the election but it's a pretty shitty poll.
I disagree that the FBI has interfered with elections.
That is already proven. They lied about a material fact to avoid damage to Joe.
They did the same thing with Hillary. That is a violation of federal law.
Luckily for them Joe one and they won't be prosecuted but it is just one of many ethical issues we are facing as a country.
It is not proven.
If James Comey did anything to sway the election why wasn’t he charged?
Same with the laptop, there has been no charges or convictions to do with it and there has been no charges or convictions of anyone surrounding it.
Imagine that, under Joe Biden, there haven't been any charges or convictions against his son and possibly his involvement in a scandal. Who would have guessed that? The investigation is still on-going but I suspect until we get Biden out, we won't see much on that topic.
Comey was fired over it by the recommendation of the AG and Deputy AG.
I thought you said there was proof?
If it truly was election interference wouldn’t there be criminal charges?
Why the DOJ didn't press charges is beyond my knowledge but it they terminated him over it.
The second incident happened then Joe became President. The investigation is still on-going.
Again, you said there was proof and I can't find any.
Can you share some of this proof that the FBI interfered with elections?
I did. So you are fine with the FBI taking sides and spreading misinformation to influence an election. We will leave it at that because that is the only logical conclusion from your statement.
No, you said there was proof and you can't provide any, that's why you want to leave this conversation.
Because you have no proof.
Trump was pretty mad at Comey when he fired him, why weren't there any criminal charges for the election interference that you allege happened?
You are being dishonest again.
I am done with the conversation because it is at an impasse. You support the FBI interfering in elections and I do not.
You are being dishonest in this conversation and are now running away.
If that's how you 'win' conversations I can't stop you but next time you say something is proven bring the receipts or you look like a fool.
You are just looking foolish by trolling now. You call someone being terminated for doing something not evidence and I provided the document where the agent admits to the illegal act.
Yet that isn't enough evidence for you.
That is being a sealion. Any reasonable and intelligent person would accept that evidence. As such that is my last reponse. Don't feed the trolls is the motto.
Election interference is a criminal offence, not just one that you get fired for.
Besides, at the beginning of this interview Trump gives a different reason as to why he fired Comey.
Can you believe Trump didn't even bring up Clinton's investigation?
