I used to use MyFitnessPal but its pop up ads are particularly annoying and paying $20 for an ad free version doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I use chronometer. I got premium so I don't remember the ads, but I remember them not bothering me much.

Cronometer + Netguard is quite tolerable

No ads, necessary functionality not locked behind a paywall like fatsecret or myfitnesspal
