You're certainly right, a clear statement would be the best option. If they establish now that DLC will be the future for all their releases, many people would have a lot less reservations about buying Persona 6 in the future. I don't have it in me to play an 80+ hour game with that much dialog twice, but I don't want to miss a large chunk of it either.
