Yup. This comes with a whole host of potential legal and security problems. If the company gets in legal trouble and you have evidence on your laptop (or even if you don't), you might be required to give over your laptop to some lawyers to look through.

If a company requires you to use an electronic device for work, make sure it's one that they provide.
