iRacing is my main and then AC for tracks I can't try out on iRacing. I have RF2 and AMS2 but I don't ever really play them with no DLC.
I'd love to try iRacing, but the cost puts me off for the time I can dedicate to racing.
There are often very cheap deals for new subs for a few months, and if you love it you can resub on black Friday for a discount also.
I've definitely spent a lot more on it now, but I also took a loooong time to spend anything more than the sub price. And now there's even more base content than when I was new. I was happy racing the mx5 for ages before being tempted into any purchases. Now you got those, GR86, Vees, FF1600 and more, all great cars. Plus oval stuff
I totally get that; but, for me, the cost is worth it because when I get that 90 minute chunk of free time, I can sit down and within 15 minutes be in a competitive multiplayer race with high quality cars 24x7.
Never thought of it like that. I have been racing on ACC in the LFM leagues, but I would like something other than GT3 cars to race in.
So, your first sub gets a heavy discount and there is plenty of awesome free content. The rookie MX5, Formula Vee, and Formula Ford are incredibly fun and you get those cars included in the sub. At least one of those a week is typically on a free track. Then at Class D you get the GR86 included in your sub and it’s such a good race series.
