Were they kicked out by reddit? Were they protesting? What's changing?

I believe after protest actions were banned they just closed the sub and left. So it was inevitable they would be replaced eventually.

it just old moderators team that have been removed. But, the sub still exist and finally the admin found the replacement for mods.
