Lots of communities are dedicated to nature's big pictures, the breathtaking vistas and scenic landscapes. Those are all great, but I find the details of the natural world to be just as much of a draw.

From ripples in sand, to whorls in bark, this community celebrates the beauty in the little patterns and textures of nature.

Been trying to submit these but the last set of lichen photos I took I have been having errors uploading. The recent lichen post reminded me to do this. I usually post my photos to [email protected]

That is some lovely texture!

I did see your photo on pics, and was thinking about cross posting, then completely forgot (as you do)....I don't know if you're aware of the macro photograph community on Lemmy? It's gone rather quite right now and could probably do with some beautiful lichen photos to perk it up
