TIL the Barbie movie is completely irretrievably bad and has no redeeming qualities
True after the first act of the movie. Never have I seen a movie so deeply dive in quality and completely flub its own set-up. It started out as satirical and pretty good, and then they just like... forgot how to write satire and started doing didactic exposition where they just looked at the camera and started reading feminist theory at the audience.
This is not how you do satire!
nah it's good, subtlety is for cowards (also americans don't have the horsepower to catch it)
idk i would have been on the barbieside but people have shared thoughts and i don't really think im in a place to disagree with them
But it has Margot Robbie doing mime bits.
Would a very serious, award winning dramatic actress like Margot Robbie actually do something like that? Doing these so-called "meme bits" on the Internet because it's funny?
Is this what the kids call their genitals these days? "Meme bits"?
It's award winning dramatic actress Margot Robbie!
I loved your boss fight in Elden Ring.
Did you like the part where I was like:"Someone must extinguish thy flame, let it be Margot the Fell."?
