I believe the "help" in the best of countries is lacking because of ignorance and stigma and the best people fitting that description are the other half of that problem. But also let people be animals or fairies or cryptids or what have you, the world is bleak enough and we're all unhinged in our own ways. Like honestly it's this, acceptance and tolerance pushed to new extremes (something I think we socially as humans totally underdo) OR depressing military cyborgs + authoritarianism in the cards if not a more mundane climate crisis and/or world resource war...maybe even all of the above?
