Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So how’s it going?

I'm trying SwiftKey, which has bings AI fixing all my mistakes. Guess I'll be doing my bit to dumb down the engine behind it, haha.

I used to use SwiftKey way back before they were bought by Microsoft. I just downloaded it again and noticed they have swipe to delete! Not quite the same as I'm used to, but will give this a go for a bit and see if I can get used to it. Thanks for the suggestion!

It stopped working! Swipe to delete and swipe to move cursor don't work. I don't think this is gonna work out.

I'm having trouble with the space bar but I don't know if its glitchy or if the user is the issue. I like messing with different software just for a change of scenery though so will see. So far the AI is getting all my errors fixed correctly so I haven't had to delete much yet.

I'm not deleting errors, I'm just half writing posts then deciding I want to say something different and trying to easily and accurately delete the previous sentence or two.

The standard second guessing! I do that on desktop a lot. Writing on a phone has never been my thing though so I usually talk myself out of posting before I even start

Yeah, I can understand that. I try to keep longform stuff to the PC because it's too easy to mess it up and lose all your work on mobile.
