So we now have Google Bard and Google Gemini? Are they the same?
It's Google, it's a mess.
But Bard now uses Google Gemini Pro model in "English for more advanced reasoning, planning, understanding and more" with plans to add Bard Advanced in the future that will use Google Gemini Ultra.
They say it in the article: "Bard is simply an interface through which certain Gemini models can be accessed "
So Bard is like Chatgpt, and Gemini is like Gpt3/4. As in Bard & Chatgpt are platforms, and Gemini & gpt3/4 are the models running on them.
