If that chipset has the same issues my Arc a750 has, don't count on being able to play older games.

Being an XE gpu, it most certainly will.

But Intel seems to be making real strides into older game compatibility with each driver update.. I wonder how your GPU and this handheld could possibly improve with time.

My thoughts exactly, Intel are still trying to break into the gaming market with their graphics, but they have a long history of failing at this.

I might be mistaken, but these Intel based machines might be better for switch emulation, as they share dedicated hw for the particular form of texture decompression they use. One cool potential upside
