I just wanted to point this out. There's been a lot of talk about the "dark truth" about this phenomenon.
For a religious person like Tucker Carlson and his wife, or Jimmy Carter who allegedly cried about this, the "dark truth" could simply be the idea that NHI created religions, that they represent both angels and demons, and their entire belief system was a lie.
That's not a dark truth for a secular person like myself, I wouldn't give a shit about that at all.
For a secular person like myself an example of a "dark truth" is the idea that we're some sort of a slave race made to mine technology for a more advanced intelligence or something like that. And once the particular goals are reached we just get reset with new goals.
Just to be clear I don't think either of these scenarios is true, I'm just trying to point out that our parameters for what is "dark" can be completely different based on our belief systems or lack thereof.
Which is why ultimately this speculation is useless, and the "dark truth" rumors are likely disinformation since we can't even agree on what "dark" means to begin with.
If we are slaves for tech mining I think that would be a dark truth for everyone. Regardless if secular or religious. Maybe not for those in power who made pacts with these entities. But its all speculation and hype imo.
