What the fuck do they think this war is about, that a ceasefire (read: defeat of ukraine) would allow them to join nato
If Ukraine is reduced to a small territory along Poland's border, maybe Russia won't care if they're in NATO
I keep giving NATO free ideas but no one wants to listen. Just let Poland annex the west half of Ukraine. And announce that any foreign military within the borders is a declaration of war against NATO.
EU relies on pretending they are the goodies. EU allows the annexation (and thus) destruction of Ukraine and the political landscape will get bonkers.
There are so many far right that want to destroy the EU that would jump on the argument that the EU helped destroy an entire country and burglarise it.
