A pandemic of heart failures. This is certainly something I've been worried about ever since we found out how much covid affects the heart, scary to see research pointing in that direction too.

My friend with long covid, who required a heart bypass in 2021, just had emergency heart surgery again.

They live in a long term care place and have been infected with covid at least once this year, due to the state dropping mask requirements. The care place has an outbreak every two-three months.

It seems like we are culling the most vulnerable on purpose.
