We can't have nice things because of people. Also, you can bet that people's opinions about giving people money for nothing have been formed by the media who in turn have been paid for by oligarchs.
The irony of course being that often these oligarchs and media barons are being given money for nothing.
And there's also been an ongoing effort to astroturf that. At the beginning of last century it would be understood that property would refer to owning land. Nowadays 'property' is synonymous in everyday English with 'personal belongings.' Because taking a 300 acre farm in collective ownership is exactly the same as a home invasion robbery where I take your flat screen tv at gunpoint.
Bruh, I don't need the media to tell me that giving away my money to grifters and degenerates is a shitty way to use it.
Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money. You want to help people, you pay for it.
Money doesn't have owners. That's why, in order to accumulate wealth, the violent acquisition of property was necessary.
Capitalist systems also regularly refresh their coffers with money by taxation. Are you someone that believes that a state can exist without taxation?
