Does anyone find the set design to be a little 2005ish? (lemmy.world)

The UNIT set and the Galvanic laser gun to me anyways, looks like sets and set dressing. It's didn't look real world to me. I mean, say what you will about Jodie's run, but the set design was top notch.

I saw that UNIT set and immediately thought "Disney's turned UNIT into Stark Industries HQ"

Yep, I was thinking "there's no way Disney will let them get away with this" before I remembered Disney was involved with making Doctor Who now. Guess it's not unprecedented though, Marvel's Helicarrier always reminded me of UNITs Valiant (though I'm sure the Helicarrier probably predates it in the comics).
