NPC sind in der Gamer-Sprache die anderen Charaktere, die nicht vom Spieler selbst gespielt werden. Diese Werbung ziehlt aber eher auf Streamer/Influencer ab, die sich über Spenden finanzieren und so unter Umständen Jugendlichen ganz schön viel Geld aus der Tasche ziehen.

Das stimmt, noch sepzieller gibt es aber auch eine Kategorie von Steamern, die "NPCs", die immer auf die gleiche Weise auf bestimmte Interaktionen von den viewern reagiern. Wie ein NPC eben.
