Is it normal to see random new posts get loaded on to the front page even when sorting is set as "Active" or "Top Day"? (postimg.cc)

Hello, fresh new Lemmy user and first-time poster here.

Even when I set the front page to sort "Active" or "Top Day", I keep seeing fresh new posts pop up on my front page (see image).

This happens whether I limit the front page to "Local" or widen it to "All". This also happens across different Lemmy instances, not just Lemmy.world.

Is this a normal thing and supposed to happen?

I don't know if I'm being overly sensitive, but tbh this is sort of annoying....

Hah, for me your post was one of the new posts that load to the front page. And yeah, I think it's a bug

Ironically, I had my front page opened in another tab. And when I created this post, it popped up on my front page as well XD
