Most parents just don't want to play tech support for their family and have $10 a month so they don't have to.
Lol sorry, I did not mean it in a judgy way. I just figure most parents don't know or care enough about Minecraft to host a server themselves but I'd probably do the same thing in their shoes

The fact is most humans couldn’t set up a server.
Most humans couldn’t repair a car.
Most humans couldn’t perform an angioplasty.
Most humans can’t play football at the professional level.
