I've been reading reviews and when it comes to the HDR feature, nobody really says much more than "It does HDR!"

Has anyone seen anything on the QUALITY of the HDR? Because it really does seem to be screen dependent.

I have a 4K and 8K Samsung television and I've had to disable HDR on every device connected to them because the picture is dark, muddy, and borderline unwatchable.

Examples of what I'm talking about:

HDR On:

HDR Off:

I have an 85” QN90B and HDR on it looks fantastic, always bright and very clear. I’ve never run into the issues you’ve described here, maybe it’s only specific models?

Quite possibly. Like I say, it appears to be screen dependent.
