Freestar Collective and all security forces fire on sight with no existing bounty (lemmy.world)

I don’t have any bounties according to the kiosks, yet Freestar Collective and Akila Security fire on me on sight. I have no idea why. Has anyone else run in to this? I’m not sure what to do other than constantly flee.

Edit: Used wrong version of “sight”

Edit: it’s all security forces except the UC.

Not sure if it's intentional but I've noticed there are some ways to anger the security "faction" without getting a bounty - I think it's when you do something directly to a guard (like intimidation ability) but are sneaking so don't actually get caught doing it.

Exiting the area and sleeping for 48 UT hours should hopefully make them forget about you.
