Mammoth Monday Part Deux
This concludes my drill press-themed series of shaves with the rescaled Böker. I've really enjoyed this fine razor and the scent combos I've tried over the last seven shaves. The B3 brush is also a pure pleasure to use.
CBL Lavender & Leather is not a subtle scent, just a massive punch of leather with sharp, aromatic lavender, but pairing it with Almond Leather was a good idea. Its sweetness rounds out the combined scent.
I think you're the only one I've seen here, or on r/Wetshaving, who has used a CBL soap. Do you like it?
Sad to see the drill press series go but I understand the need to move on :)
It's ok. The base is fine, and the scents are strong. Nothing that swept me off my feet, but no real complaints either. I do not recommend it, at least not until you run out of stuff to try from the better artisans 😄
