How would you suggest we fix gerrymandering without voting?
You talk a big talk but I doubt you'll be out there in a armed mob.
Organize it....you won't though because you are some troll keyboard warrior who thinks they will walk up to a politicians house with a mob and pull them out and cut their head off and some how that will cause social change. If you think that do it, no one is stopping you
I'm very interested in seeing how that would play out. When you organize that let me know I'll watch with gusto. Personally, I think you'll end up gassed or pepper sprayed, tazed, and arrested. Or maybe dead. I'll watch for you on CNN though.
MLK Jr?
So you're saying MLK was a failure? Mandela too?
I didn't know the two of you were friends. You keep odd company. In your opinion, how was Mandela a failure?
FYI: Nelson Mandela was viewed as a 'Terrorist' by the U.S. until 2008
Not really the best example of a pacifist considering he said this “The time comes in the life of any nation when there remain only two choices – submit or fight. That time has now come to South Africa. We shall not submit and we have no choice but to hit back by all means in our power in defence of our people, our future, and our freedom.”
Might be time to open a history book.
You're right. I have to admit African history is not my strong suit. I'm much more familiar with greco-Roman and American history than African. I think calling him a terrorist isn't accurate either though. My fundamental point is that the United States would be better off if more people voted and they voted in more elections. Do you think that's accurate or not?
All democracies (if we are willing to call the US a democracy) would benefit from higher voter participation.
The US is considered a flawed democracy
Let me know when it's something other that text on the Internet. I voted this past Tuesday. I back up what I say is important.
And my point is the only way we can overcome that bovine manure is to keep voting. To not let them trick you into thinking that they'll always win; that their victory is inevitable.
So the solution to being ignored is to do the thing that was ignored again? That's a special kind of logic..
If you're being ignored then remove the people who are ignoring you and replace them them with ones who won't.
Remove them how? They're ignoring your voting, remember?
I think if more people voted, more often, in high numbers then we would have better people elected to office. The higher percentage of voter participation goes I think the better the politician. I think a lot of people believe they don't have any real voice in politics but I'm convinced that isn't true.
Wait, how would they not be removed from office by an election? Are you saying that elections will be ignored as well? That those in office will claim that they won the election and refuse a transfer of power?
In a word, yes.
∆∆ Everyone ignore this idiot, he is an anti-disestablisment troll and repeats similar cookie cutter talking points whenever revolution is brought up.
We need to overthrow those fascist tyrants and do it now.
He is either wildly uninformed, or terribly uneducated, yet still highly opinionated.
Such a noxious stew of ignorance and unearned confidence.
How the fuck has his obvious shill account not been banned already?
Oh wait, because .world is an instance run by shills purposefully herding everyone together to control what they say and undermine the effectiveness of federation. That's right. I forgot 🤦
You do you. I'm willing to bet you're a tough guy behind a keyboard but gutless wonder in the real world.
This is the second time you've told me that when this subject has come up. Are you some kind of a bot?
You figured me out. I'm actually a dog though because on the Internet no one knows you're a dog.
"I'll send all the money you ask for, but don't ask me to come on along ..."
Remind me how that one ends again?
Ultimately the narcissism of small differences will ruin us all.
