Firefox-Entwicklung wechselt von Mercurial zu Git. Dies geschieht in zwei Phasen: Zuerst wird die Entwicklungsumgebung der Entwickler umgestellt, und dann wird die Backend-Infrastruktur schrittweise migriert. Die Migration soll mindestens sechs Monate dauern. Während dieser Zeit werden Bugzilla, moz-phab, Phabricator und Lando weiterhin genutzt, und Pull-Anfragen werden vorerst nicht akzeptiert.

Endlich! Ich contribute sehr selten zu Firefox, doch wenn hab ich immer Probleme mit mercurial. Git ist einfach viel flexibler und wird viel öfter eingesetzt und daher auch bekannter.

Ich hoffe die Kommunikation geht auch wieder zurück zum IRC

Womit wird denn aktuell Kommuniziert? Also ich wäre ja für Matrix.
